The Good News
God made you. He loves you. He wants to know you.
But something went wrong.
All of us have done things that are wrong. We lie. We hurt others. We choose our own way instead of God’s way. The Bible calls this sin. Sin separates us from God, like a wall we can’t climb over.
God didn’t give up on us.
Jesus is God’s Son. He came to earth because God loves the world. Jesus lived a perfect life. He never sinned. He showed us what God is like—kind, truthful, and full of love.
Then Jesus did something amazing.
He died on a cross. He took the punishment for our sin, even though He never did anything wrong. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead. He is alive today.
Why did Jesus do this?
So the wall between us and God could be removed.
We don’t earn God’s love by being good enough. We can’t work our way to heaven. Salvation is a gift. It’s given to us by grace.
When we turn from our sin and trust Jesus, God forgives us. He gives us a new heart. We become part of His family. We begin a new life with Him—now and forever.
Following Jesus means:
Trusting Him as Saviour
Choosing Him as Lord
Learning to live His way, with His help
If you’re ready to follow Jesus, you can talk to Him right now.
Jesus,
I know that I have sinned.
I’m sorry for going my own way.
Thank You for loving me and dying on the cross for me.
I believe You rose from the dead.
Please forgive me and wash me clean.
I turn away from my sin and choose to follow You.
Come into my life. Be my Saviour and my Lord.
Help me live for You from today on.
Amen.
